David Bartels ​

David hails from the picturesque Pacific Northwest, specifically Tacoma, Washington. He spent his formative years surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of the Seattle area, instilling in him a deep appreciation for community and justice.

David Bartels – Senior Attorney

David helps clients navigate some of life’s most challenging legal matters with clarity and confidence. He focuses on family law, including divorce, child custody, and civil protection orders, and also represents clients in personal injury cases. Licensed in both Idaho and Oregon, David brings experience from handling everyday family law disputes as well as high-profile and televised civil litigation. His clients value his steady guidance, practical advice, and commitment to achieving results that protect their interests.

David earned his Juris Doctor from Concordia University School of Law and graduated cum laude. While in law school, he was an Associate Editor of the Concordia Law Review and served as Vice President of the American Constitutional Society. He has received recognition for his pro bono service, completing more than 100 hours of work, and he held leadership roles in the Young Lawyers Section, including serving as Vice Chairperson from 2019 to 2023. Outside the office, David enjoys floating the Boise River, walking the Greenbelt, and working on the ongoing renovation of his 1930s home, a project that reflects his attention to detail and perseverance.
